Making Sound Waves in May - Genesis Music Academy

We had a good start in a month of May. We are experiencing a slow growth in the number of students not only from our surrounding community but students that are from other places as well. That gives us a good sign that music lessons are still in demand.

We have made sure that we give lessons according to the student desire and that is to encourage them and keeps their passion of music going and growing. Since a lot of our students are either people sent buy their churches , or people that want to start playing in their churches or people that love music and just wanting to play an instrument, so we make sure that we know what is going to work for them and the church they are attending or where ever necessary.

There is this young boy his name is Asavela Machi , he takes a bus from Harding every Friday for lesson and he is doing very well and he always say that he wants to start playing for his church soon, even though he is not ready yet but we see his hunger of serving at his church

Challenges we’ve experienced

Most of our students that use public transport are struggling to attend their lessons. This is because it is now winter and it gets dark so quickly that some cannot even make on Saturdays because of distance and costs.
