May to June with SafePlace
- Social Worker’s Report Compiled by Zanele Bateka
It was an exciting month and a lot happened on site. MK2MK team visited, and they also accompanied us to home visits. Our clients were so overwhelmed with gratitude to see us walk in their houses. We handed gifts, prayed and encouraged them with the word of God, that says, “with God everything is possible (Mattew 19:26).” So that they would be able to remain in God who is exceptional and never failing.
Compliments
Ever since safe play started, people are now familiar with the safe place and the number of cases is increasing. Children are so excited to have playing material such as crayons, color pencils and play dough. Refreshments during the safe play is making a difference in many families. I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all the donors who made this possible.
SafePlay
Community is excited about having a safe play, it brought so much change to their children. Safe play is playing a huge role to keep children away from social ills surrounded the community. Community is grateful for the great services Genesis provides. Safe play also offers many lessons to children. Safe play made it easier to identify the problem of the child through our productive games such as team building, self-defense, listening skills, memory concentration etc.
